These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the services provided by Yirani Car Rental, limited to the rental of vehicles, customer support, and related services.

By renting a vehicle from Yirani Car Rental, you agree to comply with and be bound by the terms outlined in this Agreement.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before making a reservation or using our services.

We are committed to providing you with a seamless and enjoyable rental experience while ensuring safety, responsibility, and transparency throughout the process.

To rent a vehicle, drivers must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 2 years.

The Renter shall abide by Mauritian law and regulations when driving.

Reservations or Requests can be made through the website, by email or by phone.

All reservations require full details of the renter with pickup and drop off location.

The rental fees are fixed by the rates in force and are payable upon confirmation.

Payment can be done through our website using our secure online payment system.

Delivery and Collection of Cars are done at the Sir Seewoosagur International Airport (SSR) and all other locations on the island.

Delivery and Collection at SSR and any other locations within a 10-kilometre radius of the airport are Free of Charge.

For locations beyond 10 kilometres from the airport, an additional fee of MUR 3,000 per way will apply.

Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the rental period will incur 50% cancellation fee.

Cancellation within 24 hours of the rental period will incur 100% cancellation fee.

No show / No pickup of the car will result in 100% cancellation fees.

No deposit or advance guarantee is required at the time of booking or renting the car.

The standard rental period is 24 hours and includes unlimited mileage. Any extension beyond the agreed period will incur additional charges as per price list of Yirani Car Hire.

Extension is subject to the consent of Yirani Car Hire at least 24 hours prior termination of rental period.

The vehicle may not be driven off-road, under and influence of any intoxicants or used for any illegal activities.

The renter is responsible for ensuring all authorized drivers meet the qualifications as per the Mauritian Laws.

The vehicle is delivered in perfect working order and in clean condition. The vehicle shall be returned in the same condition of neatness; otherwise, the Renter shall pay for the cleaning and overhauling cost.

The five tires are in the same condition and free from any cuts. If any tire is damaged for reasons other than normal wear and tear, the renter agrees to immediately replace it with a tire of the same type and with similar wear.

The rental fee includes a Comprehensive Insurance Cover.

By law, the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not permitted in Mauritius.

In the event of damage to the vehicle, an excess fee of MUR 25,000 will be charged to the renter immediately if the repair costs exceed the excess amount.

Any repairs not exceeding the excess amount will be the responsibility of the renter, subject to approval by Yirani Car Rental.

The renter is responsible for any damage or loss not covered by insurance and in the below events:

1. Drives under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

2. Drives recklessly or violates traffic laws.

3. Uses the vehicle for prohibited activities such as racing, stunt driving, or off-road use.

4. Fails to report an accident within 24 hours.

The car is provided with a full fuel tank, and the renter must return it with a full tank.

If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the renter will incur a refueling fee which must be paid on spot.

1. Normal mechanic wear and tear is the responsibility of Yirani Car Hire. Any and all repairs arising from abnormal wear and tear on the part of the Renter, during the rental period, shall be chargeable to the Renter and carried out by Yirani Car Hire.

2. In the event of the immobilization of the vehicle, the repairs shall be carried out after a written approval and according to the instruction of Yirani Car Hire.

3. In the event of a breakdown or accident, the renter must notify Yirani Car Hire immediately. Any repairs made without our prior approval will not be reimbursed.

4. In the instance of collision or an accident, the Renter shall immediately notify Yirani Car Rental for instructions. The Renter shall fill out the damage report if damage has occurred.

If the Renter does not report the damage within 4 hours from its occurrence, the Renter is fully liable for the damage.

5. The Renter agrees to pay Yirani Car Hire a required deposit in the estimated amount of the rent and/or other charges the Renter may be subjected to regarding the rent.

6. The Renter is not authorized to have repairs or changes made of the vehicle and its attachments or to place them as guarantees without the prior consent of Yirani Car Hire.

The vehicle must be returned at the agreed time. Late returns up to 2 hours will incur a charge at MUR 200 per hour.

If the Renter returns the vehicle more than 2 hours later than the agreed time, Yirani Car Hire is authorized to collect as much as a one-day rent according to this rental agreement.

The renter is responsible for any damages to the vehicle during the rental period. Any damage will be assessed at the time of return and charged accordingly.

At all times during the Rental term, the Renter take responsibility to garage, driver and park the car in such a manner as to obviate any risk or damage from any cause whatsoever.

Whilst in the management, care and control of the said vehicle, the Renter accepts full liability should the vehicle be stolen, injured, damaged in way through the wilful act, neglect or default of himself or any third party or party during the rental period and until the car is returned to the owner.

We respect your privacy and will only use your personal information for processing your booking and rental. Your information will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any disputes will be settled in the courts of Mauritius.

Yirani Car Hire reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.

Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting.
